Fun in the Snow

This morning as I was out shoveling the latest few inches of snow that appeared during the night a little sun started to peak through, I thought it looked pretty cool. This is definitely the deepest the snow has been in our yard for several years. It has built up starting clear back in late November.

As I looked at the scene I thought there is something missing. I decided my idea of heaven would be to have all my sweet little grandchildren over (including the ones that live in different states) here to help me use all this snow to make a huge snowman or two. I would even take a couple days off work to play with them and have fun in the snow.

Wow, I can't believe how much snow you guys have! I was going to have the girls come over to the computer and look at the pictures but now I'm re thinking that idea since I think it may make them sad. They miss the snow and they miss Utah so much!

Well, I will still show them. It is good to get a good cry every once in a while.
