Repost of "As A Man Thinketh" from The World's Best Blog

"For as he thinketh in his heart, so [is] he" Proverbs 23:Verse 7. This may be one of the most quoted scriptures from the Old Testament. Usually the word "he" is substituted with the words "a man", obviously applying to women just the same. In the very early 20th century a man by the name of James Allen wrote a book titled As A Man Thinketh based on this scripture. The original scripture and Mr. Allen's book have both been quoted and referred to more times and places and by more people, both famous and not-so-famous, than can be counted. People who have discovered the truth of this statement have the choice of making things better. Henry Ford is credited with saying "Whether you think you can or think you can't, you are right". It is as simple as changing the way we think, and yet it is so difficult because we have to change the way we think. Want proof? Stay tuned.
